CrystaLite's Smoke and Heat Vents allow for the release of rising heat, smoke, and other harmful gases during the event of a fire. Smoke vents are a vital aid for firefighters extinguishing a building fire - and greatly improves visibility during and after a fire, which is crucial for search and rescue.

Framing members are made with aircraft grade 6063-T5 aluminum with welded corners on internal and external framing members which provides maximum durability and a weather tight enclosure - and consists of all stainless steel components for superior corrosion resistance.

    • 155 mph (60 psf) wind uplift load - 5 time cycle without damage
    • Operates with additional 184 lb uniform static snow load
    • Undamaged after dynamic 100 lb. drop bag impact from a height of 4 feet.
    • Class 30 and Class 60 roof system rating

Copolyester Outer Dome complies with the following:
  • Rate of Burn, per ASTM D 635: CC1 classification
  • ICC-ES listings as CC1 approved plastic complying with Section 2606.4 of the IBC

  • Miami-Dade County Product Notice of Acceptance-Plastics
  • Light-transmitting plastic in accordance with Section 2608 of the IBC
  • Weathering data in accordance to ICC-ES AC16
Inner Dome complies with the following:
  • ICC-ES listings as CC2 approved plastic complying with Section 2606.4 of the IBC
